For Goodness Sake, Get Excited About Your Offer!

I got asked at a conference the other day, “Why do you think launches just aren’t performing like they used to?” I looked to the person who asked the question and I said, “Are you kidding me? The launches that I’m involved with are crushing it!

So, what’s the difference? Well, I’m going to share the one thing you have available to you, that cost you nothing but is ridiculously powerful in all of your marketing. That’s coming up in this episode.

At my last conference, someone expressed that launches aren’t working the way that they used to—that results across the board are slowly dipping and dying off.

Not true. You know what’s dipping and dying off? The excitement for people’s marketing. Ask yourself this—How many people are actually looking forward to your marketing materials? How many people are actually looking forward to your promotions? And if you can’t answer that with an emphatic “lots of people are excited, they’re so pumped”,  then that should be an indicator to you.

Here’s why most people are having a lot of problems… They have one campaign that they are trying to milk for all its worth and they’ve never updated it, never changed it. It’s the same message over and over again and the market is tired of hearing it.

If you want to create excitement, if you want to generate better results, one of the greatest tools you have available to you is your own enthusiasm. Yes, your enthusiasm, your excitement! And when you look at people who are doing really well, you’re going to find that they all have enthusiasm. They have excitement for what it is that they’re offering.

So much of the marketing that I see going on out there—especially from people that are whining and complaining that it’s not working—is incredibly boring.

It Doesn’t Cost You Anything, But It Will Cost You Everything! [09:12]

I encourage you to fall in love with your own marketing. I want to create anticipation for my marketing. I want to create anticipation where people are actively saving the date to tune in to watch what happens. Because here’s what we know. The more of your marketing that people consume, the higher the conversion rates will be.

You want to create excitement for people to actually tune in to watch what it is that you’re doing. If you’re not excited about it, why should anybody else be? So, you’ve got to dial up the excitement. You’ve got to dial up the enthusiasm and show the behind-the-scenes of the thought and the intention that’s going into everything you’re crafting.

Remember, if you aren’t excited about your marketing and your business, you’re likely not going to get the reception that you’re after. And here’s the best part… Your enthusiasm doesn’t cost you anything, but without it, it will cost you everything. So, my advice to you is bring in the enthusiasm. When you get excited about what you have to offer, so will your audience!
